At Oli&Carol, we have always valued the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility. Did you know that each person generates approximately 1.5 kg of waste per day? This alarming fact reminds us of the urgent need to manage our waste more efficiently.

Recently, as part of our team-building activities, we had the opportunity to visit one of the three recycling plants in Catalonia. This visit was not only educational but also inspiring, reaffirming our commitment to the environment and sustainability.

The Recycling Plant: A Look at Sustainability
The main objective of the plant is to recover useful materials or energy from waste, thus reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and minimizing environmental impact. During our visit, we were able to see firsthand how materials are sorted, processed, and recycled. This process not only conserves natural resources but also reduces pollution and the need for new raw materials.

A Transformative Experience
One of the highlights of our visit was the virtual reality activity. Through this technology, we were transported to a future where humanity has taken significant steps to care for the planet. We saw how small everyday actions can have a large positive impact on the environment. This experience made us reflect on our own practices and how we can improve them.

Renewed Commitment
Our team-building at the recycling plant not only strengthened the bonds between our team members but also deepened our understanding and commitment to environmental responsibility. We have been inspired to apply some of these practices in our own office. In the short term, we plan to implement measures such as:
